a cup of coffee on a table

Korean BBQ sauce is a sweet and savory sauce that is perfect as a marinade or a dipping sauce for grilled meats. Here is a recipe for making your own delicious sauce at home!

Ingredients

16oz. Can Beer (Lager)

½ Cup Brown Sugar

2 Tbsp. Grated Fresh Ginger

2 Tbsp. Sambal (fermented chili paste, you can also use Gochujang)

1 Cup Soy Sauce

Cooking Instructions

1. Combine all ingredients in a small saucepan on the stove.

2. Bring to a gentle boil and let simmer until mixture is reduced by half.

3. Transfer sauce to a container and refrigerate overnight.

4. Use the Korean BBQ sauce as a marinade for beef, pork, or chicken. Simply coat the meat in the sauce and let it marinate for at least 2 hours, or overnight in the refrigerator.

5. Alternatively, use the sauce as a dipping sauce for grilled meats or vegetables. Enjoy!
