Meet Our Lead Butcher
Growing up on a beef and hog farm in north central Iowa is where my love for animals begins. My father and grandfather took great pride in the quality of the animals we raised. Years later, I got the opportunity to work at a few large meat processing plants, and always felt like a piece was missing. Then, one day I got the chance to work part-time at a small butcher shop learning all the skills it takes to process beef and pork, and I knew right away that this would be my place in life. I take great pride in connecting farmers who raise these wonderful animals with the family's that enjoy eating quality meats. I guess it is in my blood, my great-grandfather was a butcher, and both my grandfathers raised beef; even at a young age, I was helping butcher on the farms.
